“Car Doctors Are Back!”
Welcome to Automotive veterans Scotty, Randy and Jamie each Saturday from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Running the gamut of the auto industry, “The Car Doctors” offer sound advice, product awareness, industry news, peppered with fun. Whether you don’t know a lot about cars, you’re do-it-yourself folks, business professionals, or shop technicians, we touch on “real issues,” things the people encounter every day, every week.
By tuning in, you’ll hear us share our expertise on what you can do to your car to make it last as long as possible, 200,000 miles is our goal. We want to educate you, help you understand more about your car—try to protect you from possibly getting the wrong thing done, or what you should do if something has gone wrong after the car was fixed, which can happen.

Safe to say, Harley has his plate full with doing two things he loves—running his longstanding service shop, Harley’s Auto Tech, Inc. (www.harleysautotech.com) that’s located in Aurora since 1979, and hitting the airwaves on Denver favorite station, KRZW 950 AM Crusin’ Oldies with “The Car Doctors” on Saturdays, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
“It’s really pretty simple,” said Harley about the auto show, “my motto is, ‘Let’s talk cars.’”
Bringing up-to-date and relevant information to the table, along with his cohort and longtime auto repair expert, Scotty (owner of Arvada’s Auto Tech), whom Harley shares the on-air mic with, the two car vets deliver real-time information to its listeners.
“We talk about subjects that people encounter every day, every week…whether it’s how to get 200,000 miles out of your car or questions like, ‘What about the recalls—does it affect me?’ ‘What are the recalls I should be caring about?,’ to topics like snow tires and the why(s) and what(s) does a snow tire do that other tires don’t. Successful car shop owner Scotty knows how to juggle balls in the air. The seasoned pro has a full schedule running his shop Arvada Auto Tech (www.arvadaautotech.com) for the last 14 years, as well as he can be heard on Denver’s KRZW Crusin’ Oldies “The Car Doctors” on the 950 AM dial each Saturday from 1p.m. - 2 p.m.
It’s a lot of fun,” said Scotty about the “The Car Doctors,” a show he’s been cohosting for six years that taps a growing following of loyal listeners and has enjoyed a substantial increase in ratings, according to AC Nielsen’s audience rating system.
“We’ve had a good run so far. We get 8-12 live call-ins during one show with people asking questions, sharing their stories about what’s happened with their car…we just really welcome callers—love to hear their input and insight.”
